I'm the founder and head coach at Fit For a Riot. I went from being an athlete in high school to gaining a ton of weight after I stopped playing sports. When I walked into a military recruiter's office, they looked at me and said, "Lose 45 pounds before I talk to you."
I cried in Dick's Sporting Goods fitting rooms. I tried every diet out there. Then I met a bodybuilder at the pizzeria where I delivered pizzas. He taught me to track food. I lost 40 lbs, joined the military, and fell in love with fitness.
Now I'm the coach I wish I had back then. I built Fit For a Riot so that no one has to figure this out alone — especially not lesbians who deserve a space where they feel seen, heard, and supported.
